Anna Nicole Smith Investigated by FBI in Plot to Kill Stepson

It's being reported that before Anna Nicole Smith died she was under investigation by the FBI because they thought she was trying to have her tycoon husband's son killed!

Smith was battling E. Pierce Marshall for his late dad's fortune in 2000 and 2001. She did deny that she had anything to do with a plot to kill Marshall and the case was dropped after the FBI determined there was insufficient evidence to build a case against Smith. Smith then died in 2007 of a drug overdose and Marshall died in 2006.

The attorney for Anna's estate says he knows nothing of such a case. What do you think? Could Anna be guilty of a murder for hire plot?
