Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje wants back on ‘Lost’

adewaleMr. Eko wants to come back. The enigmatic character was written off “Lost” at the request of British actor Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje back in 2006. Akinnuoye-Agbaje’s parents died and he wanted to go home to England to mourn them.

“It was a very traumatic year,” he told TV Guide magazine.

But Akinnuoye-Agbaje is now hoping the show’s creators will give him and his character a second chance.

“To be able to give that rich character some completion would be nice,” he said.

With last year’s time traveling shenanigans, it’s possible we’ll see a number of familiar faces this season, maybe Mr. Eko will be among them.
