Former Miss California, Carrie Prejean recently sued the Miss California USA pageant and former co-executive director Shanna Moakler alleging religious discrimination.
Prejean was fired in June after missing several scheduled appearances but she is saying that the real reason she was fired was because of her religious believes and opposition to same sex marriage. There was also a nude photo scandal that didn't help her cause.
Now, Moakler's rep is firing back. “On Ms. Moakler’s behalf, I can say unequivocally that Ms. Prejean’s lawsuit is without merit. More importantly, as everyone who watched or read her public statements is well aware, Ms. Prejean’s unfortunate and bigoted statements are responsible for any public humiliation or damages to her reputation that she has claimed to have suffered."
Readers, do you think Carrie Prejean's lawsuit has any merit?
