Rihanna is ready to go into cover over her Grammy Eve incident with Chris Brown, but now she has another legal matter on her plate. She’s being sued by her neighbor.
Christian Moeller, a university professor who lives next door to the singer’s rented Los Angeles home, claims Rihanna is driving her cars over his front garden and ruining his grass. He filed a lawsuit at Los Angeles Superior Court Tuesday, which alleges the 21-year-old pop star allows vehicles to travel over Moeller’s lawn to get to her driveway and the cars are regularly abandoned on his property.
Rihanna rents the mansion from Stephen Yacobian, who is also named in the lawsuit.
Yacobian made an agreement, called an easement, with Moeller giving permission for cars heading towards Yacobian’s home to drive on part of the lawn. But Moeller argues that he remodeled the house and that the easement is redundant and should be revoked.
He also claims that Rihanna has a security camera pointing directly onto his property.
He is seeking unspecified damages for invasion of privacy, trespass, legal expenses and the revocation of the former agreement.
