Jessica Simpson started her 29th year as a single lady! Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo apparently broke things off with the singer the night before her big birthday!
The buzz on the potential split started when Romo showed up with 14 friends at the Hollywood hotspot MyHouse on Friday night without the birthday girl!
The pair who began dating in 2007 dabbled in splitsville back in May to only get back together in time for Simpson's little sis Ashlee's wedding. People.com is reporting that this time around Simpson is "heartbroken. She loves Tony. But it's been difficult lately. He's busy with his career and she's getting ready to shoot her show (The Price of Beauty). They decided to part ways."
Word on the street is that Simpson had planned a Barbie and Ken themed birthday bash that was meant to happen on July 10th but never did. Simpson tweeted over the weekend "Barbie party didn't happen, but I turned 29 and feel like I am on top of the world yelling I LOVE GETTING OLDER!"  She also let her fans know she is staying positive tweeting, "Everyone needs to know that hope floats ... grab the strings and pull it back to you."
