Eric Dane and wife Rebecca Gayheart have filed suit against Gawker Media for posting their nude, drug filled video on their site Defamer.com last month. They are suing for $1 million for copyright infringement after the video of them and former Miss Teen USA Kari Ann Peniche appeared on the site. Apparently, the couple warned Gawker by saying posting the video violated their legal and privacy rights, but they ignored that warning and posted the video anyway.
The publisher of Gawker, Nick Denton tweeted “To quote the great Marty Singer – Eric Dane’s lawyer – if you don’t want a sex tape on the internet, ‘don’t make one!’”
