Farrah Fawcett’s family and friends will say their final goodbyes in a private funeral service Tuesday. Fawcett died on Thursday after a three-year battle with cancer. She was 62.
Her longtime lover, Ryan O’Neal, and their son, Redmond O’Neal (who is in jail and has been given special permission to attend the ceremony), will be joined by close family and friends at 4 p.m. PST, according to PEOPLE. Ryan and close friend Alana Stewart were at Fawcett’s side when she died.
Redmond was allowed out of prison to visit his cancer-stricken mother twice since his arrest, but did not see her just before her death. According to an interview with Barbara Walters, Ryan reported that he passed Redmond’s well wishes to Fawcett after a visit and she thought Ryan was Redmond, telling him “I’ve missed you so much.”
