John Travolta still a Hubbard fan

PalladiumScientology has kept John Travolta sucked into its abyss. The star’s rep has denied rumors he has abandoned his beliefs following the tragic death of his son.

Travolta and his wife Kelly Preston have long been prominent members of the Scientology community – but when his son died, reports of a loss of Travolta’s faith made the rounds. Jett, 16, suffered from autism, a condition Scientology doesn’t recognize, and died suddenly in January during a seizure. Many have claimed that he was untreated for the autism and that this had something to do with his death.

A representative for the star has slammed claims Travolta has distanced himself from the religion following the tragedy – calling the reports “totally false.”

Travolta’s spokesman Paul Bloch told People.com, “There’s no change in the relationship between the Church of Scientology and John. He is a member and it’s as it was, now and forever.”

Sigh. So close and yet so far. Maybe we can still free Katie.
