Lil Wayne is expected to get 1 year in jail after pleading guilty to weapon possession charges in New York.

The AP reports that Lil was arrested back on July 22, 2007 in NYC after police pulled over his tour bus and discovered he was carrying a gun in his Louis Vuitton. That charge only could result in a 1 year prison sentence. Also, Wayne is still facing other drug an weapon charges steaming from a traffic stop in 2008 that resulted in cops finding 105 grams of marijuana, 29 grams of cocaine, 41 grams of ecstasy and a handgun on his tour bus. That trial is set for set for March of 2010 so Wayne might be attending that from his jail cell.
