Michael Jackson planned duet with son

michael-jaskson-prince-b2The saddest part of Michael Jackson’s death are the children he left behind. This latest bit of news pulls at my heart strings. The King of Pop was set to perform a duet with son Prince, 12, during his upcoming sold-out London concerts, the singer’s former publicist told Us Weekly.

“He was planning on doing a short duet with his son, Prince,” Stuart Backerman said. “He knew his kids would enjoy it.

“He wanted his kids to see him perform at least once to get the vibe of the Michael Jackson mania,” said Backerman of Jackson.

Despite their father’s passing, Jackson’s kids “are happy,” Jackson patriarch Joe said at a press conference Monday, adding that they’re with “other young ones in the Jackson family…. They were never around other kids.”
