Things are definitely a bit dicey in former OC star Mischa Barton's world. Wednesday Barton was removed from her home by the Los Angeles Police Department for what a police spokesperson is calling a "medical issue." LAPD spokesperson, Richard French saud that, "It was apparently yesterday a little after 3 in the afternoon, and one of the patrol units in West L.A. division responded to her home for a medical issue. The police department is currently assisting her with that. No one was arrested and there were no other persons involved in this incident."
Barton's rep told People, "Police were involved due to Ms. Barton's celebrity status, to safely transfer her to medical treatment as per doctor's orders," he said, adding that Barton is now "OK and resting." Although the official word on where Barton was taken to and the exact cause is yet to be known. Barton has also been raising eyebrows recently with her crazy partying and extreme weight gain. Pals of Barton say the her recent split from The Kooks singer Luke Pritchard is attributing Mischa's issues.
